MX Track Builders, we thank you for your excellent craftsmanship but most important, the artistic flare that you bestowed upon NJ Field of Dreams – this is a dream that came true! Six weeks prior to opening the facility, we promoted a membership drive which enticed hundreds of people to visit and walk the newly constructed tracks not only did several hundred riders and families sign-up and prepay for memberships, they were wowed by the magnificence of the tracks.

We knew that when we were ready to build the second phase of this first class facility for lightweight off-road vehicles that encompasses both motocross and trail riding, we needed to engage the best track and trail designers and constructors in the country. After constructing and opening the automobile and motorcycle hard surface race course that boasts country club amenities, construction of phase two was set in motion. New Jersey Motorsports Park is a 700-acre world-renowned facility that is located in the most densely populated state in the country. Listen to John and give him creative freedom (you aren’t a better track designer than him) Get a REAL MAX spend, make it hurt even, you will thank me later If you are even considering it, my advice to you is the following: It is our own private getaway and just what we needed to maintain a good attitude over the summer and fall. What you cannot see is the joy this has brought myself and family during a very bleak time in the world. My wife has also enjoyed landscaping the infield with plants and running some equipment to create a camp spot in the infield. The drainage works well even during heavy rains. The finished track is around 5-acres and turned out beautiful as you can see from the drone footage.

Also, they are great guys to work with both professional as well as personable. I was going to go for a 3-day and instead went to a 5-day build, now I wish I had gone even larger. I did spend 30% more than what I thought I wanted to spend, but I’m very glad I did. John and his crew were fast, efficient, and spot on with both the outcome and cost. John built a track that is safe for beginners and still fun for advanced riders (that is exactly what I asked for). All I can say is thank God I didn’t try to do it myself. I am a DIY guy with a decent knack for running large equipment and tearing up yards. If you are thinking about building a track, meet with John! You won’t be disappointed.įirst let me say I was nervous about spending the money and also was concerned that I wouldn’t end up with what I really wanted. We will definitely be looking to have John and his team back in the future. John even helped us choose the equipment that would be best for ongoing maintenance.

We gave John full creative control on the 3.5-acre parcel and with our wish list in mind, he designed a track we could only dream about. The track layout is awesome, and John and his team were amazing to work with.

We’ve hosted beginners, advanced riders, and two local pro riders every rider from beginner to pro came off the track smiling ear to ear. We’ve now had the track about four months and have put at least 50 rides on it. On the second day I realized we couldn’t have made a better choice in a track builder, and I knew at that moment we were going to get an unbelievable outcome after five days of work. After the second day of a five day build I stood on top of the first major feature and felt like a kid on Christmas. After a couple weeks of talking we decided to pull the trigger. We explained our 3.5-acre vision to John and immediately felt comfortable that he understood what we were looking for. We all ride, but at vastly different levels, and we wanted a track we could all enjoy… with a mix of technical turns, rollers, small jumps, and big jumps that the less aggressive riders could still roll over. We are a family of five, ranging from 7 to 40, with a wide range of skillsets. John Steiner and his team at MX Track Builders were amazing from day one. We talked to our local tracks, we met with several local excavation companies, and we made calls to various outfits holding themselves out as track builders online, but hit a lot of dead ends… until we met John. When we decided to build a track, we didn’t really know where to start.
